A self-portrait, for fun. Sorry I haven't been uploading much lately, super busy working on a new game and some freelance bits and bobs :3
Puffin Study
Haven't posted a study in a while, I still do these pretty frequently :) Can never study too much!
Snow White
Something I forgot to post a while back!

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to. And when he does arrive, he busts out stunning traditional-looking paintings using Photoshop.

By watching this tutorial you'll be taking your first steps into the wonderful world of Digital Art Wizardry.

 - Introduction discussing techniques which will help you lose that digital look while still taking advantage of Photoshop's toolset. Includes a 20 minute reference photobashing demo and an abundance of chest hair.

 - 50 minute demo in which I paint a new illustration and discuss techniques, theories, getting into the industry, networking, health and fitness and how they relate to art and many other topics. I also cough sometimes and say "um" too much.

 - Layered PSD of my reference photobash so you can see how it's constructed.

 - Layered PSD of the illustration itself (which I cleverly titled "Wizard Quest" for no reason whatsoever).

 - Full resolution PNG which you can stare at lovingly or make your desktop wallpaper or something.

 - My brushset.

 - Chest hair and a ferret.

Hello, I'm commenting to tell/ask you something. Months ago I was trying to find an avatar image for an account I have on a fanfiction site. I looked for nighttime images since I love how things look at night, and I found one on a site I no longer remember anything about. I decided to look for it again today just in case there might be any sort of problem with my use of it, and I also was curious. I found it again, and discovered it here on DeviantArt, your Moors at Night picture. I'm asking, as I did with the other two artists here that I used images from, do you mind me using that picture, since I'll gladly take it down if you do, though I think the picture is beautiful and I really do like to have a good picture instead of just a placeholder.

Hello, I just wanted to let you know that I completely adore your work and it has inspired me to get out of a three week art slump, thank you so much for sharing it here so we could all see it, a wonderful gallery showing the kind of great concept work I hope to do myself one day. Many pardons for spam faving most of your gallery as well. Work from you and others like you is what makes my days full of hope and color.
Best regards - Aquatics

Hey I'm so glad! Any time you get into a slump just focus on studies - portraits, landscapes or better yet master studies! Just studying someone's work and trying to replicate their strokes can teach you a ton and provide loads of inspiration :)
