SARF Jungle Background by abigbat SARF Jungle Background by abigbat
Finally an educational and FUN game for kids that teaches them all about endangered species and habitats and why it is so important we protect them.

I have been given permission to post artwork from 'Save A Rain Forest', a superb online children's game I have been working on for the last six months. Please go and have a look at the website and join our Facebook group too - the more support we have for this super exciting project the better!

Sarf Studios Website

Sarf Facebook Group

This is the first title I've worked on as a full member of the team (as opposed to popping in and doing the odd concept as a freelance artist), so please support this game in any way you can; link it in your blogs, tell your family and friends about it, bake cakes with the letters SARF and a picture of my face... We really need to get lots of attention for it to become a reality.

Thanks a lot guys, I know you'll do me proud!

I had to make this more pixelated for my taste and I used it for my background for a new drawing I have for my band with my best friend: Jäggermonkey!

May I use this as a background for a fan fiction I'm writing? I'll keep the planetsarf.com in there and I'll link back to you of course.

Mmmm, yeah that'd be okay so long as it's clearly credited to me and you don't use it for commercial reasons!

i luv the grass!! can i know what brush did you use?

The grass was created using a few custom brushes; basically just making a single stroke and editing it's options to make it cluster. That area was done pretty quickly really, there are 3D buildings on top.

Play with brush settings, in particular "scatter".

Like I said, just play with it and see what comes out. It's more rewarding to experiment yourself!
